About Me.

The work I create is all about telling stories through art,  embracing the beauty in life's imperfections.

My connection to art has always been a source of comfort and strength, especially during the more challenging moments of adolescence and early adulthood. It was through creating that I found a sense of peace and purpose, transforming those dark times into something meaningful and beautiful. This deep love for art and the support of my family and friends lead me to earn my BFA in K-12 Art Education from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 2009. Today, I’m proud to share my passion not only through my creations but also as a Visual Arts teacher at Royalton MS/HS. My work spans both 2-D and 3-D mediums, with clay and sculpture at the heart of what I do.  I also find joy in painting, drawing, and exploring the realms of graphic design and video.

Every piece I create is a reflection of the emotions and stories that shape our lives. Whether I’m working on a ceramic sculpture or a painting, my process is about embracing the unexpected and finding beauty in the imperfect. Each creation is an invitation to see the world through my eyes, to find warmth and connection in the details.

Art, for me, is more than just a craft—it’s a way of understanding and expressing the world around me. I invite you to explore my work and the stories that have inspired each piece. Feel free to reach out; I’m always open to conversations about art, creativity, and life’s delightful imperfections.
